Greene Thumb Landscape is more than a landscaping company — we’re a multigenerational, mission-driven business rooted in service, community, and excellence.
Founded in 1992 by an Army veteran, Greene Thumb began as a small, family-run business in Indianapolis. After two decades of steady growth and community engagement, the company transitioned to second-generation leadership in 2022.
As a veteran-founded, woman-owned company, we bring a unique perspective to the landscape industry — combining skilled field service with a deep commitment to workforce development, inclusive hiring, and social impact.
Our mission is to reimagine what landscaping can be: not just mowing grass, but restoring pride, creating green career paths, and investing in under-resourced communities.
